North Perth County

Well, it's been 2.5 weeks since I said good-bye to Redeemer and being a student. I'm still adjusting to my lifestyle changes:
  • I know get up at around 6a.m. instead of going to bed at that time.
  • I dread daylight savings time changes because I'll lose that hour of sunshine - not in parallel with my laying down and rising up times.
  • My procrastination techniques no longer involve harassing the 7 girls I live with. Often mom and dad aren't interested in my mature university jiberish talk.
  • MSN is my form of social life right now - I know it's sad. I'm working on it.
  • I have to drive at least 20 minutes before I come to anything fun. It used to be in the room next to me.
  • I don't have to cook anymore (sweet mother of pearls).
  • I spend less time in my bed room.
  • No one understands the university quirkiness. They expect me to be "normal."
  • I can write in point-form. No more essays or projects or papers. Just lesson planning, lesson planning, lesson planning where the outcome is marked not the paper-product.
  • There are more people that are multi-aged around me. I need to find an "age-role" (no longer a teenager but not yet an adult).

anyhow, speaking of it being 7:00p.m. and that my evenings are shorter now I need to get going....
